How do I make a difference to you?
I help you to make smart decisions.
I am always thinking and questioning on your behalf - being a strategic thinker by nature, I just can’t help myself! My goal is always to help you to find what’s best for YOU, matching your needs, resources and priorities to the market.
Clients tell me that they appreciate me being perceptive and direct. They also tell me that I ask a lot of really good questions that help them to see new options for themselves. My job is not just to have the right answers for you, it’s also to ask you the right questions so that you can make good decisions with confidence.
I stay well-informed so that you are well-informed.
I know Toronto real estate. Really well. But I never take my knowledge for granted. Every day I am out there looking at properties, researching, talking to other realtors (really important!), looking at new listings and developments, because the market changes all the time. And even though I do a lot of work in Riverdale, Riverside and Central Toronto, I work across the city and because of that I am uniquely informed and experienced when it comes to relative property values and different locations that can suit your needs. I also have a crazy sharp memory that keeps what I learn accessible!
I am both pro-active and patient, as needed.
Sometimes you will have a clear timeline for Buying or Selling, and sometimes you will need to wait for the right time to be ready. I understand that. If you are in a hurry, I’m there to make things happen. If you need to take your time, even a long time, I’m still there. Once you are on my radar, though, even when you are in a waiting mode, I will still be thinking on your behalf and keeping you informed about what’s happening in the market that might be pertinent to you. It’s what I do, and people tell me they really appreciate it.
I stay in touch with you.
When I am working with you, I make sure you know exactly what is going on day to day with your search or with your showings. I know how important Buying or Selling a home is and make sure you know exactly what is happening.
I invest time and money in YOU.
When you are Selling, I oversee every detail of preparing and marketing your property. I invest in marketing tools such as Home Pre-Inspection, Floor Plans and professional photography to attract the attention from Buyers, and ensure you get the best possible price for your property. I even provide exclusive staging services when warranted. I would rather spend money marketing your home than marketing myself. To me, that just makes sense.
When you are Buying, I take the time to understand what you’re looking for, and then undertake a dedicated search just for you. I preview properties(concierge service) on your behalf, and give you feedback, which saves you a lot of time and energy. I take you to see properties that are worth your while to see and help you to understand how they compare to others on the market. When it comes to making an offer, I help you to be in the best position possible to get the property you want. I am an excellent negotiator – strategic, thorough, honest, ethical, firm on your behalf when I need to be, and really effective. When you work with me, you know you are professionally well-supported in every way.
I love what I do and that makes a difference to both of us.
From the day I started in real estate (quite a while ago now!) it has been the most incredibly natural and enjoyable work for me. I am really good at it and I love it. In fact, if I won the lottery, I’d still do it. Well, maybe I’d have to test that one out….but I’m pretty sure I would!
Before ReMax, I had a great career in strategic marketing, sales and general management, most recently leading a $100 million+ division of a major healthcare corporation to record performance. I have to admit that when I left I never looked back, not even for a minute. This is just way too much fun.
How do I compare myself to other realtors?
I don’t. That’s not the way I think; I measure myself against the commitment I make to you. My standards for myself and for my service to you are not relative. They are absolute.
